Whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have whispered behind closed doors will be shouted from the housetops for all to hear!

I love the Bible. Verses like that remind us that it’s a double-edged sword.
On one side, it holds us accountable to our thoughts, desires and actions we think are hidden.
It puts a healthy fear of God into us that keeps us walking the right path.
On the other side, it cuts back the darkness and puts courage into our hearts.
We can be assured that everything we have done for God, whether in public or in private, are never wasted or in vain.
This is both a warning to the wicked and a call to the righteous.
To those who plot and scheme against the kingdom of light, they will be exposed.
But to those who labour, serve, love, believe and pray “behind closed doors”… you are seen, you are heard.
People may not know. But God knows.
He will bring your efforts into the light. He will reward you.
Remember, the sins of some people are obvious, leading them to certain judgment. But there are others whose sins will not be revealed until later. In the same way, the good deeds of some people are obvious. And the good deeds done in secret will someday come to light.
