Some of you might not know this, but Comma is not my first blog.
In fact, it’s a new blog I started on 20 January, 2019 after having not blogged for close to two years.
The background to this is that I used to write and post regularly on a blog before I enlisted into the army. FYI to all non-Singaporeans reading this: National Service is mandatory in our country for every Singaporean male that is of age.
Because of military service, it got increasingly difficult to write/be motivated to write on a regular basis. And eventually, that was how I stopped blogging.
However, that is all history now because after 22 months, I have finally completed my NS!
And with that, I really wanted to start writing again. But at the same time, I felt that I could start afresh with a new blog. And that is why you are now looking at the result of that – Comma!
The name of this blog is really inspired by the idea that sometimes, even though we think it’s the end to a story – in this case, my blogging “career”, it really isn’t.
Haha, so there you have it – a brief introduction to this blog and the history behind it.
With that said, however, it does not mean that I will be removing my old blog! If you are interested at looking at posts I’ve written in the past (before 2019), you can find them here.
That’s all I have to say. See you around!
